I’m not a fan of talking on the phone, but what I hate even more is being on the phone without talking. Well now there’s an app for your smartphone that will help eliminate the annoyance of being put on hold.
FastCustomer is an app for both iOS and Android phones that will call a company for you, and then ring your phone when someone is actually available to assist you. It doesn’t work for every single company, but it does have a list of over 2,500 that you can choose from. It will weed through the menus and sit patiently on hold while you go about your business. When someone does pick up, your phone will ring, and you’ll immediately get to talk to a live person. The app is free, and can even save you money, since you won’t be wasting minutes on hold anymore.
